first_imgPoor defense from the PNG Hunters have left them trailing 22-6 to the Norths Devils at half time at Albert Bishop Park in Queensland.The Hunters looked strong in the opening minutes hitting the lead early through some magic from Wartovo Puara who put Noel Zemming into space.Zemming drew in the Norths defenders and threw a flick pass to Puara to score near the posts. Zemming then converted to lead 6-0.Norths soon hit back through some good foot work from Kodi Nikorama to run 50 meters to score in the wing.From there, the flood gates opened as the Norths ran in 3 more tries through Michael Lucas, BJ Munns and play maker Darren Nicholls.Nicholls has been the catalyst for Norths being involved in every try for his team, plus being tasked with the kicking responsibilities.last_img
