Donegal face Fermanagh in the Ulster SFC quarter-final on June 12th, after they defeated Antrim in their Ulster Preliminary round on Sunday.Rory Gallagher will be facing his native county, and he’ll know Corrigan will be a key player for Pete McGrath’s side, after the skilful corner-forward scored nine points on Sunday. Corrigan is quietly confident ahead of their trip to Ballybofey, but accepts his side will have to up their game considerably if they are to cause an upset against Donegal.Antrim are currently operating in Division Four, while Donegal reached a league semi-final in Division One.Corrigan was happy with their first-half performance, but admitted they didn’t perform well in the second-half.Corrigan told BBC Northern Ireland, “I thought our first-half was probably the most pleasing,” “We targeted a big first 10 minutes and not only that, we said we’d keep going after that first 10 minutes.“That’s what we did but very disappointed with our second-half performance, there’s lots to work on.”In relation to their quarter-final opponents Donegal, he added, “They’re playing at a higher level, they’re playing Division 1.“Antrim play in Division 4 so that speaks for itself.“There was a lot of mistakes made there but we’ve a number of weeks now to get it right and I’m sure that with a lot of hard work we’ll be ready for Ballybofey, and it will be a big battle.” FERMANAGH STAR SAYS THEY’LL BE READY FOR BATTLE IN BALLYBOFEY was last modified: May 18th, 2016 by Mark ForkerShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Tags:donegalFermanaghGAAnewsSportlast_img read more
