The band encored with one of their oldest and most fun songs, “Johnny Cash,” who clearly does not smoke hash. Two and a half months later, SCI set to work at their annual Suwannee Hulaween festival, and the band’s loyal fans could not be happier for their return. With three nights to play at Hulaween, Cheese settled in nicely last night and played a set featuring some of their most classic material. Opening with “So Far From Home,” Cheese made their return memorable, and kept the energy high for classics like “Rhythm of the Road” and “Dudley’s Kitchen.” The set continued with “Love Is Like A Train” and “Betray The Dark,” before the first cover of the night, “Lonesome Fiddle Blues.” Finally, Song In My Head track “Let’s Go Outside” closed out the set.SCI kept the jams flowing with newer song “Hi Ho No Show” to open up set two, and followed that with hits like “It Is What It Is” and “On The Road.” “Falling Through The Cracks” was a nice sentimental moment, before the upbeat “Shine” really got the festival rocking. Finally, the rockin’ jammer “Howard” closed out the set, bringing a great finale to a strong Cheese performance.
