Arsenal and Tottenham target reveals he is ready to leave PSV

first_imgArsenal and Tottenham target Georginio Wijnaldum has revealed he is hungry to move abroad and further his career. The Dutch international is currently playing for PSV Eindhoven and has scored three goals in the Eredivisie this season.Wijnaldum caught the eye of several clubs in the summer, especially after he scored in the Netherlands’ 3-0 third-place play-off victory over Brazil at the World Cup, and the 23-year-old has admitted he would love to play elsewhere in Europe.“Next summer would be a great time to take the next step,” Wijnaldum told De Telegraaf.  “PSV also know that I am keen to play abroad, I am the age for it. Although I like it here, I do not want to become too old to go abroad, because I want to play there for a few years.“The more time I take in going, the shorter my career abroad becomes.”However the attacking midfielder ruled out any possibility of moving in January, instead committing himself to PSV’s title chase.“First I want to be champion with PSV, and I will fight for it,” Wijnaldum added.“If a club have been good to you and have always been there for you, I feel obliged to do me something in return for that club. I therefore do not wish to leave PSV straight away.” 1 Georginio Wijnaldum in action for PSV last_img read more
